S120 Digital Imaging Particle Counter

Product Description
The S120 digital imaging particle counter is a revolutionary sensor capable of counting a broad spectrum of particles, recognizing unusual and abnormal particle types from their shape. Many years of research and development have gone into this new sensor. Digital imaging particle counter provides enhanced data with a deeper insight never before available.
The sensor has the ability to measure a broad size range from 4-150μm recognizing different shapes of particles such as both propagated irregular images, silicate, water and carbon wear as well as bubbles.
Unlike conventional sensors which count only analog/digital pulses and are counted as bubbles or dirt, the digital imaging function distinguishes other lower particle concentrations due to the available information created by the use of machine vision, classification, often summarizing a particle count being created by 2 to 8 ISO codes, especially for 4, 6 and 14 micron channels.
Features
13/20 particle size and shape recognition
Classification codes: ISO 4406, NAS 1638, SAE AS4059
Particles are grouped by various rules into size categories – 4, 6, 14, 21, 38, 70μm
The S120 counts air and gas bubbles and eliminates them from the count.
The unique recognition software is able to categorize particles into bubbles, cutting, silicate & wear.
Highly accurate sensor capable of self-calibration.
Full integration with SCADA/OPC/PLC which can be controlled with analogue or digital instrumentation.
