How does it work?

Usually the oil sensors used for monitoring plant are dielectric ones which, via a C.A. electrical current applied to two electrodes, indicate when the lubricating oil is already disastrously degraded. The Oil Quality Sensor instead measures the capacity and conductivity of the oil which, when combined, give the value of permittivity. The reading given can be up to 60 times more sensitive as regards oil quality when compared to dielectric sensors.  Thanks to this precision the Oil Quality Sensor can therefore measure oil deterioration in advance and therefore provide prompt planning for any maintenance operation.
